When Lauren + Michael's engagement session sneak peeks hit social media in April 2016 they were an instant hit! Particularly, Lauren's mustard yellow dress was a huge hit and the inquires for what she wore started pouring in! Prior to each session, I send out a session prep guide for my clients because once your session is booked the "what will I wear anxiety" starts to set in. I always encourage my clients to dress comfortably and be themselves. So, when I saw Lauren + Michael walked up ready for me to capture there love story I got super excited!

My first thought was, "Go head Olivia Pope"!

During their session I complimented Lauren on her beautiful dress and asked her where can I find this dress, because I need this dress in my life! So, this is what Lauren had to say,

" I LOVE bright colors! Corals and yellows are favs! I was originally looking for a yellow dress when one of my friends who will also be a bridesmaid in our wedding (this is also the friend who is responsible for Michael and me meeting) saw this ASOS dress online! I was going for a sext sophisticate look for my engagement photos and this just fit! My everyday style is chic sophisticated and full of bright colors, while Michael looks great in dark blue, so I incorporated that aspect for him. I ran across the blue Jessica Simpson shoes while shopping and it was a perfect match for my dress and complimented his blue."
